  • Continental announced that it will launch daily flights from Newark to Mumbai beginning October 30th…subject to government approval. Continental has operated service to Delhi since 2005. The flights will be operated used 777-200 aircraft.
  • Delta will add service from Ft. Lauderdale to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic(Eff. June 7th) and from Los Angeles to Belize City, Belize(Eff. June 9th). Delta already offers daily service to JFK and Atlanta from Santo Domingo and daily service from Atlanta to Belize.
  • Southwest will add 18 flights in 15 cities

      • Orlando and Long Island-Islip(Six Daily)
      • Orlando and Columbus(Three Daily)
      • Orlando and Birmingham(Three Daily)
      • Orlando and Louisville(Two Daily)
      • Louisville and Tampa Bay(Two Daily)
      • Baltimore/Washington and St. Louis(Five Daily)
      • Houston Hobby and Oakland(Two Daily)
      • Houston Hobby and Denver(Three Daily)
  • Mexicana de Aviacion will launch nonstop service from Los Angeles to Monterry, Nueva Leon twice a week effective March 17th. It will also launch Cualiacan, Sinaloa twice a week in April.
