  • American Airlines will increase its service to Colombia effective December 13th. This includes new daily service between Miami and Barranquilla. In addition, American would add a second daily flight from Miami to Medellin on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.
  • American will also add service from JFK to St. Lucia three times weekly beginning November 15th. American currently offers service to St. Lucia from Miami and Eagle service from San Juan.
  • Jetblue has a promotion for a $50 voucher for travel between September 5th and October 31st when they book a roundtrip ticket by June 1st for travel between now and June 15th. Passengers must be members of the TrueBlue flight loyalty program.
  • Expressjet launched service under its own brand name from Bakersfield, El Paso, Monterey, Birmingham, and New Orleans on Monday. Expressjet operates using a fleet of ERJ-145 regional jets with XM satellite radio, memory foam leather seating, and name-brand snacks with full-service meal options on longer flights.
