Porter Airlines Inaugurates Service

Not long ago, we reported on Porter Airlines and its unique philosophy of service.

This morning, the inaugural flight of Porter Airlines left Toronto’s City Centre Airport just after 7AM EST. Despite issues with its base at City Centre, due to the airport’s location, Porter wants to expand over the next few months to more than a dozen destinations, including across the border into the United States.

For more coverage, we turned to Today in the Sky, our frequent source. Porter’s CEO claims that early sales have met expectations. Hopefully, they will be a success in the Canadian markets.
