One Way to Save Money on Air Travel

By | August 17, 2006

Yesterday, it was reported that a twelve year old boy got onboard a Monarch Airlines flight from London Gatwick to Lisbon. This boy somehow succeeded in getting past security and getting on an aircraft without passport, ticket, or boarding pass and was only discovered by the flight attendant after he’d been seated and received a drink.
This is a marvelous way for people to save money if it works for you. Just successfully bypass billions of dollars worth of security and board the aircraft. It’s child’s play. A child did it, after all, at a busy airport during a period of heightened security no less. Blend in with the crowd, be anonymous, and slip by when people’s eyes are focused elsewhere.

Perhaps there are safer ways to save a dollar. The price of crude oil is down, and thus the fare on Jetblue from Houston has been lowered.
