Last week, I found myself at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport(BWI) with a bit of time before my flight. I notices a sign pointing to the “Observation Deck” and convinced my reluctant traveling companion to join me on a visit. It was a bit after 8 in the morning on Friday, December 22. Though a busy travel day, the terminal was lightly populated at that hour. We walked over to the observation deck near security and found it to be roped off.
So, our hopes dashed, we made our way back to our gate. I know there is an observation gallery outside the secure area as well, but I am not sure if that was open.
