By | August 19, 2010

Shareholders of United and Continental are set to vote on September 17th on combining the two companies.

Shareholders of UAL Corp. will vote on whether to issue shares to Continental shareholders and amend the company’s certificate of incorporation and shareholders of Continental Airlines Inc. will vote on the merger plan. The two companies hope to finalize the merger by the end of the year, however, they still need governmental approval.
