Man Claiming to Be God Delays Flight

US Airways flight 4423 was scheduled to leave Lynchburg, VA for Charlotte Airport at around 2:30PM yesterday, but was delayed due to an Act of God.

God in this case was a 23-year old man who was overheard talking on his cell phone(we wonder what service provider He uses) commenting that the plane wouldn’t make it to Charlotte and would fall out of the sky. The man broke his phone in half when approached so no one would know whom he was talking to. We’re certain that anyone the Supreme Deity wishes to talk to has an unlisted number and values their privacy. According to deputies, he told the TSA he was God, but his back hurt, so he wasn’t going to show them his powers.

The plane was offloaded and checked and allowed to proceed to Charlotte at 5:15PM. Meanwhile, God was ushered to a divine audience at the psychiatric ward at Lynchburg General Hospital.

As Ben Murtzabaugh of Today in the Sky commented…”Seriously. I couldn’t make this one up.”
