Jetblue Can’t Seem to Stay out of the News

By | February 26, 2007

Before Jetblue could put into place its new procedures for dealing with winter weather…winter weather once again hit the northeast. Jetblue was forced to cancel some…but not all flights out of all three major NYC area airports, possibly out of Stewart in Newburgh as well, in addition to scattered delays out of Boston, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Washington-Dulles, and Richmond. In total it is reported they cancelled 68 flights.

Other carriers have cancelled service in the Northeast, but the media is closely following Jetblue in the aftermath of the Valentine’s Week Disaster. We hope that they had time to implement at least a few of their plans and things will work out better this time. If not…they have that voucher program in place…
