Innovating Carry-On Luggage

By | February 23, 2007

USA Today has a good article on some new products coming out in response to TSA carry-on restrictions. Manufacturers are seeking to profit off of the rules in the best example of market demand spurring innovation.

We recommend you have a look at the article, but here is our summary.

  • 02Hide.com offers a line of clear plastic carry on bags if you don’t mind others seeing what you are carrying…thus the name Zero to Hide.
  • pitotubes.com, developed by a former flight attendant, offers plastic and aluminum pump vials that are leak and shatter proof. They come in three sizes under 3oz and are reusable.
