  • Air Canada is launching seasonal nonstops from Halifax to Holguin, Cuba. Air Canada operates twenty-seven flights to Cuba each week, including five to Holguin. For US Residents, visiting Cuba is illegal.
  • Airtran announced effective May 8, they will introduce new nonstop service between Orlando and both Memphis and Kansas City, and will launch a second daily nonstop to Milwaukee.
  • American Airlines is adding service from Raleigh-Durham twice daily to Louisville, KY; Jacksonville, FL; and Kansas City, MO using 37-seat and 44-seat Embraer jets…all cities announced by Expressjet for their new service. Also, on April 10th, American will add a mainline flight to LaGuardia, as well as changing its Austin flights to mainline service. This will bring American to 67 daily flights to 16 different destinations, including service to London.
  • Airtran launched its service to Phoenix today.
