EU Matches US on Liquids

By | November 6, 2006

Effective today, for all flights originating in airports in the European Union, liquids will be allo wed in limited quantities. The rules match very closely the the US rules. To reiterate the new rules and best practiceseffective both there and in the US:

  • Liquids and gels are permitted in 3oz/100mL bottles. No more will be permitted.
  • All liquids must collectively fit into a quart/litre sized plastic zip-top bag.
  • If you are unsure of anything…it is probably better to check it.
  • It is a Liquid and Gel Ban…you can still bring your portable electronics, food, etc onto the plane…especially if you could before.
