Jetblue to Serve Cancun

By | September 16, 2006

Jetblue announced Thursday that they have been granted DOT approval to operate service from New York to Cancun, Mexico beginning November 30th. With this expansion, Jetblue operates service on many of the high-demand winter routes out of the Northeast to warmer climates, and complements their Aruba, Bermuda, and multiple Floridean routes for getting passengers from the Northeastern United States on vacation.

While all of these destinatiions produce good loads full of vacationers, the pressure to put low fares on these routes makes them potentially volatile. But we have faith in Jetblue’s ability to make a go of it.
